The @INDOCHINO Experience
“Now I rock a tailored suit, lookin’ like an owner” - Jay-Z in On to the Next One.
I dig startups that can disrupt and change the status quo. Personally, everyone knows what Uber is doing to change transportation. I’ve blogged on Warby Parker before which is doing an amazing job changing the process of ordering glasses, and and I continue to gush about them. Now, I’ve got another startup that I’m going to be talking about for a while: INDOCHINO - changing the way men buy suits (and clothes).
If you’re a man (or a woman who likes their man to dress awesome), and you live in Chicago (or anywhere since you can do this online), and you’re even remotely thinking about buying a suit anytime soon, then RUN don’t walk, to Union Station before August 20th.
At Union Station you’ll find INDOCHINO, a startup that facilitates men in finding the ultimate custom suit, through both the tailoring and designing of the suit. I just went, and the experience was top notch.
After I arrived, the tailor took my measurements and I tried on a few different suit sizes- those measurements load into their iPhone app along with other customizations throughout the experience - slick. I then chatted with the lovely Crystal (their Product Marketing Manager), who helped me decide on the design… think custom stitched message on the inside chest, slanted pockets, a bright green suit interior, and bright buttons (aka Baller). Also picked up a tailored shirt with MAX on the sleeves - legit.
Once complete you pay, and receive the custom bonus pack (tie, cuff links, etc.), and your suit arrives in 21 days. PLUS, if there are any issues after the suit comes, they’ll cover up to $75 in tailoring (which makes it even more legit). Again, any men I know in Chicago, get to Union Station ASAP, you won’t regret it.
For others, take your measurements, and you can input them online and order through their website.
